An Arbroath Animal

I nicked this critter from Nothing To Do With Arbroath at http://arbroath.blogspot.com/.
Miss Cellania from
http://misscellania.com/
commented that the little fella looked "like something from Dr. Seuss." The Divine Miss C is right on as far as I'm concerned. You'll have to go to Arbroath and see if anybody has come up with an exact identification but for now I'm going with Dr. Seuss.

The lil'guy looks positively penitential---or at least relatively reverent doesn't he?
Thanks Arbroath!

Oh gosh, he's so strange looking...he's adorable! How I'd love to add him to our pet family here...lol ONLY kidding! We're on "animal" control now.
I'll go read about him. He sure looks interesteing.

You have provided me with my science lesson of the morning. I do not remember ever seeing one of these cute little guys before. Those eyes are most beguiling and his expression sublime. Bet he isn't as innocent as he looks!

    Terri,
Sit down. Close your eyes. Relax. Count backwards slowly from 100. Now, repeat after me: No more animals...No more animals...No more animals...
Even ones with eyes like this!

    Master Teacher Maria,
Promise you'll post this science lesson for all of us to share.
    But don't tell Arbroath. :)

He looks quite frightened to me! Poor little guy. Thanks for the link! My new address needs all the publicity it can get, since I can't post anything on the old blogspot site.

    Mike,
I think his mom just told him to "hold it!" That's tough to do after green eggs and ham.

He's holding something in his hands, isn't he? Otherwise, I would think he was praying with eyes raised to Heaven.....LOL

How cute -- and how tiny. It's barely taller than the grass surrounding him (or is that a her???).

Taking Lucy's wise advice. Sitting down and counting backwards, while repeating the mantra, "NO more animals!"
Yup...it worked, Lucy. Thanks! As much as I love 'em, I have to agree, we've reached our limit. Besides, everyone gets along so well, we can't be upsetting that.
