Where's Gudrun?

Gudrun Ivarsdatter (she's a maiden-lady cat)* is feral and elusive when she decides to be. Of course, as a cat she believes everything revolves around her...as this picture of Gudrun in one of the gardens at Jack and Carole's house near Garden of the Gods in Manitou Springs illustrates. Can you find Gudrun in Auntie Sue's latest photo? Let me know but don't let the cat out of the bag!

*All the DonnCats have first, last and many times middle names reflecting their nationality. Gudrun is obviously a Black Norwegian.

PS: Don't even think of asking me about anything else in the pic!

Wow Lucy - that was a great lesson on how we perceive things and think we are correct in our perceptions - I didn't see her until I came here and got the "clue" and I enlarged the picture. thanks that was fun. Hope you are having a delightful weekend. -Suzann

I needed the clues and the enlargement to find the elusive kitty.

It's all about lines and the patterns our mind pulls out isn't it? Clever post, Lucy!

When someone said black and shining eyes I knew I could find it. Enlarging the picture and thinking of my Molly and by golly there it was!

Hey, these ole eyes are still pretty good -- I spotted Gudrun before I read the comments and clues. Did I win anything?

Yeah, I won something. I got to see the picture of that awesome Garden of the Gods! Have been there a couple or more times over the years; has never ceased to intrigue me. I know, it's a bunch of rocks.

I like the Grand Canyon, too, but a friend once said she couldn't understand what people liked about it as "It's just a hole in the ground!"

Not sure what you think of the "rock garden," Lucy, but maybe it will grow on you -- not literally, silly -- but keep your eyes open, never know what could happen! (Just a little something to feed your anxieties now that the shower is over.)

Well, Lucy, without the clues I wouldn't have found her! Beautiful cat!

Thanks for the tip; I see her now! I never would have without the clue.

I laughed at your comment about getting cranky.......can't we all?!

    To my blogger friends,
Glad you enjoyed the garden in the Garden. Auntie Sue is the most intrepid of gardeners---cutting trails and establishing beautiful rock gardens in more than 20 nooks and crannies of the mountainside. We call her the "Earthmover" and "Rock Rassler." Larry Olaf and Jazz are a big help.

I look forward to posting pictures of the house and gardens as the house and upper yards are completely rennovated. It's taking forever so don't hold your breath!

I'm ususally clueless about many things. :) I'm lucky I spotted that feline.

    This was a clever exercise.
    Happy Day to you, Lucy!

My comments just flew away in cyberspace. I found Gudrin and he is really a beautiful minature black panther. I love the Norwegian names and although this sleek kitty looks more African than Norwegian, I bet he is just as stubborn as the average Minnesotan. =)
